By car from the South:
Follow the M6 (North bound). Take Junction 36 onto A590, turning left towards Windermere and Kendal. Continue forward on to the A591.
Turn left at the Windermere Hotel, travelling through Windermere town centre.
By car from the North:
Follow the M6 (South bound). Take Junction 36 onto A590, turning right towards Windermere and Kendal. Continue forwards on to the A591.

Take the train to Windermere station. You can pick up a taxi from the railway station but if you can walk, the cottage is only around 10 minutes away.
